A Timeless Avant-Garde Masterpiece And Extremely Hard To Find A Pair That Is Not Heavily Worn These Days, Especially Since The Leather Adjusts To Your Foot Movement And Produces Beautiful Creasing Over Time. In Pitch Black Calf Leather, With A Very Elegant Slightly Extended Toebox That Defined Avantindietro. The Leather Softens And Develops Beautiful Creases Over Time Similar To Some Guidi Boots, But As This Pair Was Worn Very Little, Is Still Somewhat Stiff. The Leather Is Quite Thin And The Boot Itself Is Lightweight, In Contrast To The Original Carpe Diem Footwear, Making Them More Easily Wearable And Appropriate For Warmer Months As Well. The Pair Comes With The Original Leather Insoles. Condition Is Excellent For Its Age. Some Minor Creases Have Started Forming And The Laces Don’T Have The Original Needles. A Few Scuffs Are Noticeable From Wear When Looking Very Closely, But Nothing That Would Detract From Enjoying This Piece. Please Refer To The Photos For Detail. The Outsole Protection Is Still In Excellent Condition And Is Customized For The Special Heel Shape. Fits A Size 43 With The Original Thin Avantindietro Insoles, But Could Work On A Size 42 With A Larger Insole As Well. Measurements Differ From The Usual Carpe Diem, A1923, Guidi, Etc. Models Since These Have A Very Anatomical And Lightweight Build In Comparison, True To The Avantindietro Ethos. The Instep Is Not As Low As In Many Carpe Diem Boots And Quite Comfortable.
