A canvas, leather and bamboo tote bag that was made in Italy by Gucci, in very good condition. This stunning piece dates to Frida Giannini’s tenure as Gucci creative director, which dates it to 2006-2014. Inspired by Gucci’s long history the piece features a lovely floral print by Vittorio Accornero while the bamboo handles are a nod to the house’s use of this material in the post-war era. There’s gold-plated hardware on the bag including the handle attachments and base studs. There’s a cloth interior with a compartment for a mobile device and a convenient zipped inner pocket. With a handle drop of 17 cm you can wear this over the shoulder. The condition is very good. There’s some very light wear to the corners, superficial scuffing to the leather and a small stain inside.
