Description
The shoulder birkin was introduced by Jean Paul Gaultier when he was creative director at Hermès. The design made the birkin more practical by allowing it to be worn on the shoulder. During the recent Winter 2024 show, Hermès models presented a smaller version of the bag which is expected to be released in limited quantities in the future. This classic 42 cm size is much more practical than the smaller fashion version introduced.
