The plate uses high-density VPD down the center of the spine, as to protect the point most susceptible to injury. Low-density VPD encompasses this area, adding protection to your kidneys and shoulder blades, with it eventually thinning out on the sides to maximize movement.Ventilation holes run along the back plate for maximum air circulation throughout the vest.
