For sale is a vintage, mod look, Gucci, genuine red leather shopper with two round bamboo handles, footed bottom and gold accents! It has the classic 1960s mod style that Gucci is known for and would be ideal as your signature red handbag! or the same handbag, but in brown sold for at least $500 more than I'm asking. This is a gorgeous handbag in red, which is always a desirable and rare color! style for $$$$! The handbag is in a nice larger size. It has two round bamboo handles and is made of soft red leather on the outside. It has a footed bottom. It has a wide snap closure strap on top to keep everything secure and snaps on the sides to allow it to expand even further - see photos. It has the true 1960s mod Gucci look that is still in style! Inside there is a large main compartment with a zippered pocket. The lining of this “bamboo” line was usually an ugly, peeling leather upper lining; Luckily the lining on this one wasn't too bad and is camel, not black, so it should be easy to restore! In my opinion, it looks great and very clean! The handbag has an embossed leather tag above the zippered pocket that reads ""Gucci, Made in Italy"" on one side and the serial number 002.1819. 0809 on the other side. Measurements are 14"" x 13"" x 4.5""; Handle height: 8""; *Article number : It's a real find! Please note that the bag is not new and has minor signs of use - see photos. You will be the only person to own this rare pearl from Gucci! You can dress it up or wear it with jeans and it would look great! It's the only red purse you'll ever need! DO NOT MISS ! This handbag has a nice lining that does not need restoring as it is made of an embossed gray suede with a large white G logo. However, I love the vintage bamboo styles even more, especially after finding a store that's willing to restore the liners (because Gucci won't), so I have a variety of pieces from this line in different styles , colors and materials, such as two other red versions - one in suede and the other in textured and smooth leather, a seafoam green suede/leather, an orange suede/leather, a navy blue leather, a brown brown leather , a brown suede, a sapphire blue suede, a white leather, an ivory leather, and a black leather and suede/leather!
